Q. How do I register?
A. Click the REGISTER NOW button on the event website that you want to race in and follow the directions.
Q. I am sick or injured or have a family or work emergency or car breakdown and cannot race. Can I get a refund or transfer to another event?
A. No, registrations are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE as you agreed to when you registered. Race management cannot take the financial liability for every athlete’s health, family, work, and transportation status and still be able to pay all of the expenses necessary to organize the event. That’s why during registration we offer all athletes a very inexpensive insurance policy managed by RegShield. Q. I accidently registered for the wrong race (duathlon instead of triathlon) or want to upgrade (Sprint to International Distance) or downgrade (International to Sprint Distance). How to I change which race I’m in within the same event?
A. You can transfer between the different races at the event (i.e. triathlon to duathlon, International to Sprint) at any time easily by just logging into your account and making the change. See link and video below for help. You will have to pay any difference between the races if the new race is more expensive, but, sorry, no refunds are given for downgrading. Q. When is the next price increase?
A. Most races offer discounted pricing for > 60 days, > 30 days, > 14 days, > 7 days, etc., though some races, like Miami Man and Key West, have 3 and 6 month discounts and more. Q. Do I get a shirt and finisher’s medal?
A. Yes, all races include a race t-shirt and a medal for finishing. If you place in the top 3 in your age group you’ll also get an award medal. Some races, like Miami Man, offer a bunch of other swag as well (hats, bags, glasses, mousepads, etc.)
